The bureau concept allows UKGN to put the best solution to each and every claim and enables the provision of a wide number of solutions from validating and instructing the insured's own supplier through to activating their extensive supply chain. By identifying the correct method to settle a claim, savings can be made whilst maintaining an engaging service for both the insurer and their policyholder. This innovation is already proving to be successful in terms of both cost saving and reduced life of a claim.

The core to the approach is 'case management'. This means that when a member of UKGN's staff is assigned a new instruction, that case is managed by them from start to finish, ensuring a rapport is built with the insured and control is maintained through the life of the claim.
Wherever possible UKGN manage the relationship directly with the 'man on the tools' and try not to pass instructions to a supply chain that in turn uses a sub contractor. This ensures that control is maintained and that all jobs are directly supervised. It also means that UKGN are able to make use of experts in their respective field rather than try to deliver a 'jack of all trades' service.
