Dean formed his first company at the age of 22, providing a high pressure jetting service to mainly construction projects. After gaining considerable experience of specialist drainage work, in 1995 he formed MultiJet (Cardiff) Limited with his business partner, Stuart Pace, to diversify into the repair of existing domestic drains.
MultiJet grew to become one of the largest drainage companies in the area and jointly founded The UK Drainage Network Limited in 2003.
Because of his wide range of drainage experience, Dean was asked to provide specialist technical input into the 1st and 2nd edition of the Water Research Centre's Drain Repair Book.
